Their creative team is the engine behind some of the most unique events, attractions, and experiences across the U.S. and beyond.

With a cost accounting background, it was especially important for Todd Agee, CFO, to be able to dig into the project numbers. He says, “When I joined Oak Island Creative, I discovered that our old accounting system was unable to provide the detail I needed to effectively manage our projects and financials.”

With Sage 100 in place, Todd points out that job cost tracking and reporting has been the most important improvement. “Now we can really track costs at a detailed level so we know what our margins are. Each event we do is very unique so our costs and margins are changing all the time,” he says.

Sage 100 provides Oak Island Creative with the tools and reports to compare year-over-year changes and really drill down to keep projects profitable, yet competitive. The other piece that has been important for Oak Island Creative is the ERP-level security and controls. Todd says, “With so many different people and departments entering data and using the new system, you really want those tight controls in place.”
