As a company on the cutting edge of healthcare, Lucent Health understands the importance of keeping up with the latest technology and improving their own internal systems by leveraging modern technology. In 2015, Lucent Health through rapid growth was operating in multiple accounting systems including LuminX, Excel, ACCPAC, Sage and QuickBooks.
With this, there was no consistency across their subsidiaries in systems or processes and none of the transparency required to help their rapidly growing company move forward at the pace they required. NetSuite also provided an open API architecture that would allow Lucent Health to continue to utilize specific systems that could now be integrated into NetSuite and pass data back and forth between databases, rapidly improving the time it took Lucent to produce accurate financial statements.

From Jeff’s perspective, the implementation process started as a true learning experience for both Lucent and Oasis, “The implementation process was at times difficult but there weren’t a lot of roadblocks. The challenges that we faced were some outside perspectives. That was probably the one challenge. Other than that, the process was seamless, flawless. The Oasis team did a great job of truly understanding how our processes worked and how that translated into how we could operate in NetSuite with how and what we wanted to do.”
