Director of Business Development


  • Hunter: Successful track record of selling ERP solutions &/or complex technology solutions to C-Level decision makers
    • Preferred 5+ years of experience selling technology services to C-Suite buyers through a consultative sales process
    • Preferred: Experience successfully selling new ERP customer logos
  • Comprehensive understanding of small business purchasing dynamics
  • Excellent communicator: written, verbal and listening
    •  Proven ability to lead customer discovery calls by asking multi-layered, probing questions
  • Able to close new business remotely and travel as needed
    • Travel estimate of 25-33%

While gainfully employed by Oasis Solutions, this employee’s performance will be measured by how well they perform the following responsibilities:

  • Primary sales responsibility is to sell new ERP customer logos
  • Expectations of selling at minimum 6 new customer logos in the first 18 months of employment
    • Minimum of $10,000 in new customer annual recurring revenue
    • Target of $300,000 in total annual recurring software value in 18 months
  • Proactively work with Leadership to develop and drive a sales strategy for the NetSuite practice
  • Be proficient enough with NS to complete thorough discovery calls, build compelling presentations & understand and estimate the product mix and pricing required to close new business
  • Have a proficient understanding of when and how to position additional 3rd party products and services when required and work with those 3rd party resources as well as Oasis’ resources to ensure a holistic solution is provided
  • Proactively work with Marketing and management to create a pipeline of new leads and meet regularly to discuss changes if needed
  • Assist marketing & leadership with the creation and implementation of seminars/webinars/user groups, etc.
  • Suggest improvements to sales process, sales tools and anything else that will accelerate closing new business and ensuring referenceable clients
  • Promote teamwork with all parties including consultant delivery to ensure smooth transition from sales through delivery to account management to marketing go-live PR
  • Pursue & establish strategic referral partnerships
  • Assist in the hiring and management of additional sales team members, when necessary
